The name Roco1245 was inspired by the Kabokweni community, with its area code being 1245, we wanted the company to bring value to the people through its endeavours and most importantly be a source of pride for the community. Roco1245 is a media company started in 2014 with the objective of creating a national platform for local artists. Since then we have created the Roco1245 magazine and various brands that will be easily accessible as of 2017.

 

In the creation of the content we work with a very diverse and talented group of people who contribute towards making the content relevant and informative as well as improving the presentation. Roco1245 will be the home of the best and most talented people in media. We are transitioning into a conglomerate and by so doing we will expand our reach.

 

Since our inception, we have done a lot of projects that we take pride in. The Roco1245 Magazine which has since garnered much-appreciated reviews and we take pride in our participation in community-building initiatives. We extended a helping hand to assist a local NPO, the Moses Sihlangu Health Care Centre. In this initiative, we hosted an annual charity event for the centre and extend an open invitation to all parties that would be interested in participating. 

 

We are currently doing projects in the media industry, projects that challenge us and push us towards the edge of convention. This will help us reach our perceived potential and hopefully go beyond. We work with other young entrepreneurs that are founders of their own brands, these are people with inspirational stories and a passion for what they do. Our collaborations are mutually beneficial as well as empowering.
