Passion for Fashion

It seems like old school is coming back when it comes to fashion for the ladies. A lot of females are now wearing gypsy tops, pleated skirts, high - waist pants, block heels and suede material which are all items that our mothers wore back in the day. It's amazing how fashion has evolved over the years but we are now also going back to styles that would be deemed to be 'out of fashion'. Bomber jackets are also becoming popular amongst both males and females.

Males are still keeping it simple and clean with either a pair of chinos/jeans, plain/branded T-shirts, caps because bucket hats are not so popular anymore and good pair of sneakers. Every guy NEEDS a good pair of sneakers or a couple in his closet. Nike has always excelled when it comes to sneakers especially with brands like Jordan which never disappoints. Adidas has also recently come to the party by releasing some dope sneakers under the Yeezy brand. The only problem about Yeezy is that some of our fellow brothers and sisters are content with wearing the fake ones which according to me, is a huge fashion malfunction.

I recently went to Pop Bottles and as per usual, the fashion there was on point. One thing that I noticed though is that some ladies are choosing old school cornrows over weaves. When I say old school cornrows, I mean the ones that Ms Alicia Keys used to rock back in the day. The ladies are also keeping it sexy and edgy with mesh clothing items. For those that don't know what 'mesh' is, it's that see through material. I've been seeing ladies wear mesh dresses, bodysuits and skirts! Truth be told, mesh looks all kinds of sexy when worn the right way. Some ladies take it up a notch by not wearing bras when wearing mesh tops, which for me - is a bit too much. When it comes to fashion, there's a lot that you can choose from. You can keep it old school, sexy, simple, edgy or just flow with whatever new trend is coming in.
