  1. Tell us about your background. I come from a place I best describe as a small rural set-up, Clau-Clau. Raised by both parents and my grandmother. I have 3 siblings, little sisters. Completed my matric at Khutsalani Secondary School in 2014.

  2. What made you decide that you want to be in the media industry? I chose the media industry because I believe that once you in there are many job opportunities open for you not only in the career you chose but the many others as well.

  3. What are the most difficult things you have had to endure in the industry thus far? It has always been a struggle to find a modelling agency, I still find it hard because of the environment that I am in right now. If there are opportunities open, there will be some obstacles barricading it.

  4. What influences your work? My dream to prove that no matter where you come from, no matter the background, you can still make it big. If you believe in it, fight for it right?

  5. What are your career goals? My career goals besides modelling are music and being an educator to the next generation.

  6. Besides modelling, is there anything else you do? Besides being a model. I have a passion for music, I am a vocalist / songwriter.

  7. What can we expect from you soon? At the moment, I have nothing planned as I am caught up in school work, but if something comes up, you’ll be the first to hear.

  8. What is your most memorable moment on stage? My most memorable moment on stage was being crowned the 1st princess of Miss Mpumalanga.

  9. Do you get nervous? Most definitely yes! I do get nervous but I have moments where I just don’t know if feel nervous or not.

  10. Passion, tell us what comes to mind when you think about your passion. Well, it is labelled as a passion for reason isn’t it. When I think about my passion, I have no doubt and no regrets either because I am doing it out of an enormous amount of love and positive motivation that fuels it. When I think of my passion, I see what my future holds and plenty of opportunities that await me.

  11. What would you say to an aspiring model that would help him/her in their journey? Not all opportunities will come your way, but you have to work your way towards getting them, it won’t be easy yes, but persevering is the only way to get you up there. Losing or getting turned down doesn’t mean stop. If you believe you can do it then you most definitely can.

  12. Name one thing you dislike about the industry? Haven’t come across any negativity personally. But I dislike the fact that a person can come across a lot of negative comments and body shamming, which can be discouraging.

  13. What do you do when you are not working? If I’m not busy with school work, I spend my time coming with music ideas that I can work on with my group and other musicians around campus.

  14. Where do you hang out? I’m an indoors type of person, so not unless I have somewhere to go, I hang out at home.

  15. What is something that most people don’t know about you? I’ve heard a lot of comments coming from people about myself. I’ve been told that I look intimidating and mean. People already have their own perspective about you before getting to know you. I’m actually the opposite of what they think, I am nice and humble, respectful young lady with a positive personality.

  16. Do you have any endorsement deals with SA brands? No I don’t have any endorsement deals with South African brands but I hope to in the nearest future.
