Someone is Always Watching

Whenever I leave the house I make sure I look representable and my mother never understands why I dress up so much and I always tell her; you never know who you might bump into or who’s looking at you. You might meet the person that will help you reach your dreams or you might meet your future wife or husband and I am sure you would like to leave a good image of yourself. Whether we like it or not image plays a crucial role in life. People treat you the way you dress and present yourself. You attract the right or wrong people based on the way you are dressed. This is why the way you look is very important.

Whether one is having a terrible breakdown inside let that not reflect through the way you are dressed or the way you carry yourself. It is very important to carry yourself as if God came down and placed a crown on you and made you king or queen. That is exactly how one should carry themselves and expect others to treat them. The way you treat yourself is the way others will treat you. Sometimes people wonder why they are treated as if they are worth nothing; always evaluate the way you presented yourself to that person treating you this way. Did you present yourself with respect? Were you dressed in a way that the next person would take you seriously?

As much as we all have the freedom to dress the way we want to dress, one must be cautious in the way they dress because that is how the rest of the world will perceive you, whether their perception of you is true or not it will work in your favour or against you. Next time you leave the house be sure to ask yourself, what type of image of myself am I putting out there? And remember that someone is always watching.
